Dr. John Gottman has an interesting bit of advice for couples. He says, “Don’t leave home without a kiss that lasts six seconds.”

Kissing can be healthy; it releases dopamine and can activate your brain’s reward center. Some studies have even shown that a kiss can reduce stress and could help lower your blood pressure. It also increases blood to the brain.

Everyday starting today share a kiss every day lasts at least six seconds. Six seconds is long enough to feel romantic.

John Gottman says, “A six-second kiss is a kiss with potential. It’s a kiss worth coming home to.”
