Upcoming Increase in Fees

At Wells Counseling Services, we value the relationships we have built with our clients and the trust you place in us. As we continue to serve the community with dedication and pursuit of quality counseling that is up-to-date in training, technology and confidentiality. We want to ensure that we keep you informed about any changes that may affect your experience with us. It's important to us that our clients understand the factors that influence our operations, especially when it comes to the sustainability of our services so we can all plan accordingly. This communication is part of our commitment to transparency and quality care, and we appreciate your trust, understanding and support as we navigate these necessary adjustments. Periodically it becomes necessary to adjust to increasing expenses and rising overhead costs associated with providing this quality of care.

These changes will take effect March 17th for new clients. Existing clients will have until August 01, 2025 in order for decisions to continue or for budgeting choices to be made about further sessions. We acknowledge the impact of inflation on our community and want to respect our clients’ needs so we will be available to discuss concerns as we implement the rate change. Please understand we desire to continue to offer quality therapeutic services while keeping pace with rising operational costs. After careful consideration, we have made the decision to adjust session rates effective March 17, 2025. For David Wells this means his counseling sessions will increase from $150 to $170 per session.

We understand that any change in fees may raise questions or concerns. Please be assured that we remain committed to integrity and are available to discuss any questions or address any concerns you may have regarding this adjustment. We deeply value the trust you place in us as your mental healthcare provider, and we are committed to delivering exceptional care that meets your needs and exceeds your expectations.

Our hope is to stay comparable with the area market. We also underscore our understanding of the importance of having a significant and hopefully transforming counseling experience - individual, marriage, family, or student. Rates for counseling associates will be at the reduced rate of $75 and initial intake sessions will also be reduced.  For our current and valued customers, existing active clients will receive a short grace period to remain at their current rates in appreciation of their business.
